Quality Idea of extra mh in a battery of same size is very inciting, this battery does that for BB8900 but BB have a weird way of checking for battery charge which sort of nullifies this as BBcurve 8900 does not chargers battery full most of the time, and since it have higher charge carrying capacity BB gets fooled into thinking that battery is charged, so until BB shows yellow battery indicator you cannot start charging.
Loved the battery for its performance which is still better than the original anyway. (Posted on 1/28/12)
